In My Mind
Diamond rings,
Scary things,
Chicken wings.
In My Mind.
I can’t seem to make them go away.
There are trees,
Charging fees,
Killer bees.
In My Mind.
I don’t know what I am gonna to say.
Window sills,
Freezing chills,
Pay my bills.
In My Mind.
With a paperweight I sat in tree.
I could freeze,
break my knees,
when I sneeze.
In My Mind.
When I close my eyes it’s hell I see.
In my mind, there is danger.
Everybody seems a stranger.
And there are two of me inside my head.
Check it out,
Scream and shout,
Beaver snout.
In My Mind.
What the hell am I supposed to do.
There’s a fawn,
on my lawn,
Genghis Khan.
In My Mind.
Think about the things that I will chew.
In my mind, we will argue.
I don’t feel the same way I do.
And I don’t understand the things I said.
And in my mind, we are many.
My opinion’s good as any.
To my other self it seems I’m wed.
In my mind, we will argue.
I don’t think the way that I do.
And it will keep on going till I’m dead.
